🐢 TOTE-ally September — Sea Turtle Tote

Sometimes a design refuses to stay on the front of the bag.

When I adapted the mama turtle from my Sea Turtle Blanket into a tote, I didn’t want to shrink her down and plop her in the middle.

So…I wrapped her around the ENTIRE bag.

🐢 Her head is on the front.
🐢 Her body stretches around the side.
🐢 And yes…her turtle butt is on the back. 😂

I especially love this one because it’s a good example of how a motif can take on an entirely different personality when I move it from a flat blanket into a three-dimensional project.
