When I realized I had enough bag and tote patterns to feature a different one nearly every day of September, I thought…
Well, obviously we need to make a whole month out of this! 😂
And what a month it’s been!
We’ve had farm animals and sea creatures.
Flowers and books.
Halloween bags and Christmas bags.
Teacher totes, beachy totes, practical totes and whimsical totes.
We even welcomed some brand-new designs into the Heather Noble Designs collection along the way!
But one of the things I hope TOTE-ally September has shown is that mosaic crochet doesn’t always have to mean committing to a big blanket.
A tote can be a wonderful place to practice your skills, experiment with a color combination, try angle stitches, make a meaningful gift—or simply crochet something fun that you can actually carry around and say:
“Yep. I made this!” 🧶
I’ve also loved revisiting some of my older designs and sharing the stories behind them. Some brought back memories. Some reminded me how much my designing has evolved. And some had me thinking about entirely NEW patterns I could create next.
