💀 TOTE-ally September: Day of the Dead Bag
Today we’re getting a little more sophisticated…and a little spookier. 💀
My Day of the Dead Bag features a bold sugar skull motif that’s perfect for someone who likes their crochet with a little edge.
But did you know that the colorful skulls associated with Día de los Muertos aren’t actually meant to be scary?
Día de los Muertos—or Day of the Dead—is a Mexican tradition honoring and remembering loved ones who have died. Celebrated primarily on November 1 and 2, it’s known for colorful altars, marigolds, favorite foods and belongings, and beautifully decorated skull imagery.
I can see this one going well beyond October. Make it in black and white for a graphic gothic look, go traditional with LOTS of color surrounding it, or choose two completely unexpected colors and make it your own.

💀 So where are my skull lovers? Would you carry this one only during spooky season—or ALL YEAR LONG?
The Day of the Dead Bag is today’s featured pattern in my TOTE-ally September Sale!
