After yesterday’s little trip to the coast, we’re heading right back to Christmas crochet!
One of the things I love about making your own holiday décor is that you don’t have to settle for whatever colors or styles happen to be in the stores. You get to make something that feels like your Christmas.
The Christmas Table Runner has a classic holiday feel, but your yarn choices can completely change its personality. Go traditional with red and green, keep things rustic and cozy, choose elegant neutrals, or pull colors straight from the Christmas decorations you already love.
At approximately 32″ x 11″, it works beautifully down the center of a dining table, but it could just as easily dress up a buffet, console, or coffee table.
It’s also Level 1–Easy, using basic SCBLO and DCFLO mosaic stitches. That makes it an approachable project if you’re newer to mosaic crochet or simply looking for something relaxing to work on during the holiday season.
How would you describe your Christmas decorating style—traditional, rustic, elegant, colorful, or something else entirely?
