*Size will vary depending on yarn weight and hook.
This calculation was based on weight 4 worsted yarn and hook size of 4 mm. Gauge: 4 stitches and 4 rows=1 inch
Yarn: *This pattern is written for 2 contrasting colors. (One of my pattern testers used 3 colors and the tapestry color changing technique for the tongue and eyes. I have video tutorials on tapestry color changing – but you would have to color plan this yourself using the charts as a template if you wish to use more than 2 colors.)
Color A (Dark/design/paw prints/shadows/outline) – 890 yds
Color B (Light color/background/dog fur) –1260 yds
2” Double Border –548 yds
*Note: I recommend keeping Color A your dark color and Color B your light color due to the use of the shadows in this design.
